MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE INCREASED TO NEAR 45 MILES PER HOUR (MPH) WITH HIGHER GUSTS. SOME STRENGTHENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS EXTEND OUTWARD UP TO 70 MILES (110 KM) FROM THE CENTER.THE NEXT NEWS ITEM WILL BE ISSUED AT 6PM.
